how many different spices of wolfs are there?

There are many species of wolves and many sub-species. There are 3 recognized species of wolves and they are The gray wolf, Canis lupus, lives in the northern latitudes around the world. There are five subspecies of the gray wolf in North America and seven to 12 in Eurasia. The currently recognized subspecies in North America are:

i know of TIMBER, GREY, ALASKAN, and CANADIAN. i think. i have a malamute wolf x, but i don't know his particulars.
The main one is garlic wolf bain but I'm sure there are bay leve strains out there
I think there are 20 in all around the world but im not sure.
