We have a few (5) that my kids bought down the shore a couple weeks ago. We are doing all the "handbook" says to do. How long do you think they will live?? Fingers crossed that they'll be around for a bit!! ANYONE KNOW??

With the proper care and tank conditions they will llive to be 30 years old or older. Our eldest crabs have been with us for 16 years now.
What "handbook" are you using? Most if not all (but one) are discustingly outdated and full of misinformation.
they are supposed to live for up to 10 years. but i had some and they only lasted a couple months. a couple of them drowned in their water dish so they arent very smart.
Good question. We got one last x-mas and it's hanging in there.
Up to 20 years with proper care and nutrition according to the Petco site.
