how do you show a stock type half arabian at halter? What type of halter?? stock or arab type halter?

Answers:
I think by Stock it means a western type show halter. If the half arab has an arab-type head and/or is in a half-arab class, go with arabian halter. If it's in an open stock horse type class, and the head isn't too arabian like, go wit the the western halter. If the head is fine but you are still in a western type open stock class, go with a western halter but see if you can fine one with narrower leather, like 3/4" instead of 1".

when the Arabian shows in the "lines" then use the Arabian style halter! A western halter with some class for any show! Stock halters at home only!

when you havee your horse in a show, you want him to look absolutely perfect. Splurge on the halter and make sure it fits correctly. When there is more than one horse that is outstanding, the judge may have to start going by non-horses things - like the fit of the halter.

Make sure the halter is in excellent condition with a spit-polish shine on all hardware. Everything counts in a horse show.

The best way to know is go watch a couple of shows and familiarize yourself with the standards people use, ask people showing the kind of turnout they use.. and pay close attention to what the judges use..

Remember" showing horses is fun, but more fun when your winning".

ok well i come from england and i would use.. cause i havnt heard of any of these halters im going to describe wat it is ok lol
its pure white u can get black if it suits your horses better and its made of canvas its got no fastnings and u slip it on it already has a rope attatched. i have been placed 1st or 2nd everytime with my part arab and he sounds very much like urs he is rising 2 now and has won hundreds of classes and i belive this is the best halter as all others in class have worn bitted and non bitted bridals with leading reins attached so i automaticly stand out lol gd luckxxxxxxxxx
