the best way to get them to get along a little easier is to introduce them slowly..only have them in the same room together when you can be there with them.then seperate them for a while when you are gone.bring the cat out a little bit longer each time you bring him out.they will eventually start to tolerate each other but it might take some time.

Good Luck!
It won't be an easy fix, but there are definite ways to help the situation.

Rub a clean towel on your cat, like you're drying him/her off. Try and get the towel saturated with the cat's scent. Now, lay the towel underneath your dogs' food and water bowls. They'll come to associate the smell of the cat with food over time. and it'll help calm them down when they're around the cat. Do the same thing with a towel and your dogs.

Also, supervise all interactions between your cat and dogs. Sit in a room with your cat in your lap or in his cat carrier and have someone else bring one of the dogs into the room on leash. Don't let the dog into the room until he's calm and relaxed. Dogs feed off of your energy, so if you're freaking out about their interactions, the dog will freak out, too. Let the calm dog (on leash) sniff the cats carrier and make the dog lay down and submit to you in the cat's prescence. Keep initial interactions short and monitered. If the dog gets rowdy, divert his attention with treats and make him sit or lay down for you.

Eventually, they'll all learn to tolerate eachother, if not love eachother. It takes time and supervision. Be calm around them and make sure that all of your pets know who's in charge!

Good luck!
yes they could get along if they live together
if you put them together at a very young age and bring them into the house at the same time, they will learn that the house is both of theirs and they tend to get along. if you bring a dog into the house after you have had a cat there or vice versa, they think the house is theirs and that the other is intruding.
There is probably little you can do, unless they were raidsed together as friends they will most likely hate one another for a long time, just keep them seperated, if your dogs have a history of hunting smaller animals that probably has a lot to do with it.
Perhaps you can keep your dogs outside or only in certain rooms??
The cat will get used to the dogs eventually. That might mean it will become friendly with them, or it might mean it will just learn to ignore them.

HOWEVER. the dogs are the challenge. Some dogs simply cannot live with cats. If a dog does not like cats, in most cases it's impossible to change that. If the dog is afraid of the cat, that's one thing. but if it's aggressive toward the cat, you're probably going to have to choose or find a way to keep them separate forever. Even if you were able to train the dog to leave the cat alone (unlikely if it's aggressive towards the cat), you still would never be able to trust it out of your sight with the cat.

How big are these dogs? If they're small guys that just chase the cat around. you have more time to be able to try to get them adjust. however if we're talking about rotts or labs, etc. a decision will need to be made quickly for the cat's safety.

I hope it works out for you!
you have to get them when they were babies.
DID YOU REALLY JUST BRING IN AN ADULT CAT? WAS THE CAT RAISED WITH DOGS? YOU NEED TO FIND A KITTEN AND SUPERVISE ALL ASSOCIATIONS WHILE THEY GET USED TO EACH OTHER AND THE KITTEN GETS BIG ENOUGH TO DEFEND ITSELF. AND DO NOT GET IT DE-CLAWED!! OR FIND AN ADULT CAT THAT KNOWS DOGS. BY THE WAY, I HAVE 4 DOGS AND 2 CATS. ONE OF THE DOGS IS A WOLF MIX. HE'S THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN GET OUT OF HAND BECAUSE HE PLAYS TOO ROUGH.
