how do you give hamsters baths?

Answers:
You don't. Hamsters bathe themselves so don't attempt to wash them. It is however crucial to clean their housing regularly.
That's a naughty word in the hamster world; hamsters don't like water sports. Nature has provided hamsters with a natural oil to maintain the condition of their fur. That's why they spend so much time grooming. Although they can swim, water baths are not recommended. If a wet hamster becomes cold, it can lead to flu and possibly death.
You don't- just put 'em in clean bedding.
But a little soap in your mouth, put one in your mouth and let the little hairy beast run around in there for a minute or two.
You don't. you would probably kill it through shock. They clean themselves. If the hamster is dirty in a particular area, just get a jug of warm water, and some cotton wool balls. Wet the cotton wool and bathe the dirtied areas.
just put them in the washing maching that should sort them out lol
in a bath tub with water, pet shampoo%26conditioner%26 a flea%26parasite rinse
On the left, you have a tub of warm, soapy water.

In the middle, a herd of happy hamsters.

On the right, a swarm of kitties.

GO!
You don't, just keep their cage clean every day
You don't give them baths, as many people have already posted. Hamsters are much like cats. They'll lick thier fur, or their paws to clean it.

However, you can provide your hamster with Chinchilla Sand (Not Dust!) in a small container. They roll around in it, which cleans their fur, and makes them feel soft like a newborn hamster. It comes in a box with 5 individual packages that are a 1 time use thing. BUT, I have 10 hamsters, and 1 bag fills each little container for my dwarves cages (I have 5 cages) each time. So it lasts a long time for small animals.

I love how soft their fur feels after they use it.
DONT GIVE IT A BATH! IT COULD KILL IT!

This tells you how to keep them clean, but also mentions that you should't do it unless absolutley nescessary. Another option, if they are stinky is to use what I use on my rats. I buy it at PetSmart. It's called Quick %26 Clean. Product says it's an "E-Z" No rinse bath for bunnies, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, and Pet Rats. It is tearless and smells like baby powder. The back of the bottle says;

Specially formulated no-rinse shampoo will gently loosen dirt, dissolve oils, and deodorize you'r pet's skin and coat, leaving your furry friend smelling fresh as a baby.

*Non-irritating leave-on formula *Eliminates odors
*Long lasting baby poder scent *Simple to Use

You will love this simple spray-on solution for soiled pets, you will enjoy the fresh Baby Poder fragrance, and you can feel the cleaned and conditioned coat of your critter.

How to have a Quick %26 Clean Pet:

1) Shake well and spray on pet
2) Massage in and let dry
3) Thoroughly brush your pet with Super Pet's gentle Petting Brush (use any gentle small critter brush)
4) See the shine and smell the refreshingly clean scent

Super Pet Tip:
Many small animals have very sensitive skin. To insure a favorable grooming experience, always avoid spraying any coat care products into your pet's eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
DO NOT USE WATER! You should by some kind of powder for them. They roll around in it and it cleans them.
