How do you know when a guinea pig is about to have her babies?

I have a very preg guinea pig. She must have been preg when I got her so I don't know how long she has been preg.

it's pretty hard to tell when. you'll know it's getting close when you can feel the outline of the babies very distinctly and feel them kick a lot. but i've cared for maybe 20 litters in my lifetime, and only ONCE did i ever see part of the birth. other times i came very close to witnessing, but only got there in time to see the momma cleaning her babies off. guinea pigs are amazing mothers. you probably won't have to do a thing. they thoroughly clean their pups and the cage after they give birth and they know how to care for their little ones. the babies are born with all their fur, eyes open, walking around very shortly thereafter, albeit a bit wobbly on their feet at first. guinea pigs NEVER EVER eat their young, not even if they have still borns. once they realize a pup is not living, they will leave it and move the rest of the clan to another part of the cage. the likelihood of a stillborn is huge, though, so i wouldn't worry about it.
basically, expect to come home someday soon and notice a few little ones snuggled up with their momma.
I bought a g. pig a while back .had no idea she was pregnant..next hour I walked in..she had 3 babies ( I keep them all separated now because she had both boys and girls).she gave no clues or anything..it was a total surprise for me as well
they are quiet when they are giving birth. My sister's piggy Pumpkin was preggers whebn we bought her at petco. she was fine all day when we where at college. then when we came home there was a little pig rat running next to her mama. Pumpkin supposed to have 2 but one was stillborn. :( (she/he was all brown with crop circles)
