How do you get pet odor out of the house?

How do you get pet odor out of the house ? "without getting rid of the animals"
Answers:
wash ur animal
febreeze works great, also if you have cats, change the litter box every day, vacuum alot and burn candles, open windows when possible, you might want to use a black light on your carpet and furniture, if you go to your pet store the light comes with a spray, it will show any urine spots that you cant see. good luck.
I use a 3 tiered approach to keeping the dog odor out of my house and I have to say its been working great.

1. Wash your pets regurlarly. Once a week or every other week depending on how often they go outside.

2. Shampoo your carpets at least once a month.

3. Febreze everything. Furniture, pet beds, curtains, pillows, etc. It really neutralizes odors and makes everything smell fresh and clean.

Good luck!
boil Cinnamon in a pot with water put Cinnamon sticks and put powdered Cinnamon in the pot also
another help full way is to use candles and air fresheners ,use a odorless cat litter if you have cats .
like everyone else is saying febreeze but febreeze only masks the odor. if you mix ammonia and water in a spray bottle and spray the areas lightly that will get rid of accident areas. for general pet odors bathe the animal and clean your carpets regularly. that should help
I use Gonzo's pet odor eliminator. You can get a bag at Walmart for $4.00. It covers an area of about 400 sq ft.

They are basically volcano rocks. It has something to do with the positive and negative charges. All I know is that I have a bag hanging over the litter box, can get my face right to the edge of the box, and STILL can't smell the litter.

My hubby is super sensitive to animal smells, and he can't even tell when our cat has been sleeping on his pillow. Stuff works great.

Awesome product.

Good luck.
you can have your carpets steamed cleaned thats where most odor hide spray and carpet powder only mask the odor
