how do you get rid of bats in your attic?
Answers:
Psychoanalysis
Open the window?
floodlights.
You might need to call an exterminator for that one. Unless you have bats in your belfry in which case you will need a psychologist.
BATS?
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
At night when they take flight to eat find out where they are exiting and seal it off so they can't get back in.
FIRST OF ALL, BATS ARE A GOOD THING. THEY EAT INSECTS. PUT BAT HOUSES OUT AND AT NIGHT WHEN THEY GO OUT, SCATTER MOTHER BALLS EVERYWHERE. HANG BOXES OF THEM FROM THE RAFTERS AND NEAR THE HOLES. LEAVE SOME LIGHTS ON TOO. THE MORE THE BETTER. AFTER A COUPLE OF NIGHTS, PLUG ALL THE HOLES. BATS ARE GREAT TO HAVE AROUND. AND THEY'RE PRETTY COOL TO OBSERVE.
Please do NOT kill them or use any type of pesticide. Bats are protected and many are endangered and declining. Here is a very helpful website in dealing with getting them out of your home and how to prevent them from getting back in.
