How do you get rid of pet odors?

Answers:
Clean! Clean! Clean! That's all you can do to permanently get rid of the odours. I would first start with the source. Give your dog a bath or whatever pet is causing the odours, then vacuum, dust, and even get a carpet shampooer if you need to. You can use the shampooer on upholstery etc. There is no magic cure to get rid of pet odours but hard work. If you are looking for a quick fix that will only be temporary, try burning scented candles or incense. That may help mask the odour when you have friends over etc. Good Luck!

1. Maintaining cleanliness - cleaning up the area the pets are in once a day - just taking that minute to wash something out or scoop the poop.
2. Next is if you have carpeting - use Glade Pet Odors or Arm%26Hammer Pet carpet freshner - this helps a LOT! I also used it on my furniture and vacuumed it as well.
3. Febreeze works great to daily spray the furniture and carpet.
4. Oust or Glade air-fresheners - the plug in oils or the scented candles - keeps the room constantly filled with a pleasing aroma.
I usually use a mixture of vinegar and water. Also, the product Spot Shot works well. Lastly, simple green w/water. Let it soak then dab up.
give them a bath and some good air freashner
Clean the pet and pet cage or home once a week or so. What is the pet? If it's a ferret, you can de-scent it.
go to petco or petsmart and get a spray called simple solution or try natures miracle that works pretty good too.
