It depends. If you fatten them up first by feeding them the fattiest foods possible you'll stretch their skin out a bit. thus needing less hamsters than originally planned.

you'd never be able to breed enough hamsters especially the syrian ones they are right anti social buggers. put them in a cage they will turn on each other. but i reckon if it were possible maybe 300 might get you a good jacket
I would guess about 1000, if you limber up the hamsters first, by making them dance on a hot biscuit tin perhaps, then the skin will be more supple and stretch further.

Anyway, it's ridiculous to suggest you can make a jacket from hamsters..it would require so many that I would have formed them into a travelling dance troupe, maybe do some 'Fame' numbers or something from 'Top Hat'. how many hamster can you keep in one aquarium?

It depends on the size of the aquarium. As long as have room to run around then that is fine. I had a 10 gallon tank with 3.. Be careful they do multiply.

Well if your talking about a empty tank, make sure it isn't deep. You can only keep 1 hamster in 1 cage, tank or something. If you put 2 hamsters together, they will not get along. You may only put 2 of them together is when they are ready to mate. When they are mating, let them. (It has to be a boy and girl though) Then after they are done, take the male or female out. When the babies come, Don't put the male in. Don't touch the babies either. If you do, then the scent of the mom's babies will be different and the mom may attack them or abandom them. So yeah. Hamsters like everything to themself so only 1.

How many guinea pigs to keep together?
I currently have 27 guinea pigs. 6 are male, 21 are female. I currently have each female paired with another, except for 5 of them, which are paired with (nuetered) males. The other male can not be housed with other guinea pigs as he has a disease that is contagious to other guinea pigs if he rubs up against them. But I think I need to minimize the number of cages I have (just a little). So how many guinea pigs should I keep in a cage that is around 50" x 52"? Just would like to know (I already know how to introduce them and everything else.)

That size cage is suitable for about 4 GP's. They need room to excercise and if you put too many in there, you will be cleaning it 3 or 4 times a day to keep them healthy. How about trying to sell some of your pigs to a local pet store.

The insecta wasp has one stinger that does not detach into victim, and so the same wasp can sting you repeatedly. A bee can sting only once since it dies after losing its stinger in the victim.
